CTH3 OFFICIAL SITE FOR THE HUNT.

The problem was I did not have enough ! ;D So I fixed it! :tongue3: But, if I get snow bound the next couple of days, I may need some ! Up to 14 inches predicted now (of snow) ! :coffee2:

Yes it looks like we are going to get hit hard with snow to. Please take as much as you can stand Mental Granny.
(Snow) Hope all stay safe.

Well I've been gone for longer than I thought................ I missed this thread AND 560+ posts!!! Holy crap!!!
Sorry guys, I been busy with home remodeling, VA issues, buying and fixing up a bass boat for the rivers and lakes near Tallahassee and buying a mini buggy and looking for another ATV so I can go riding with my wife and daughter in the Apalachicola National Forest and Tate's Hell State Forest down here. I should have checked in on TNet sooner!! Anyway, here's the buggy

and the boat I just got too

cause when I'm fishing
10958_28_01_10_1_19_06.jpeg

my jon boat just isn't big enough to catch the lunkers..... :dontknow:

.....we turned part of the living room into a billiard parlor.....
10958_28_01_10_1_21_13.jpeg

and we're remodeling our private bathroom, plus some other things.........

I had to do something fun with some of my share of the "BigDig", Texas treasure...... :laughing7:

Hey Stan, I just sent you our fees via PayPal. I'm thinking about staying at the Motel 6 since it's the closest 'rated' facility to Caldwell, or maybe I'll buy a camper and hang out at the Gypsy camp. Decisions, decisions.......
Anyhow, the rest of you will get to meet my long-suffering wife/AS, "Saint Ellen", as she was dubbed at the Vortex Springs Hunt. It will be great to see everyone again and meet new friends, but it'll be especially terrific to see my 'partners in crime' from the Uvalde Hunt, the infamous SixPack

Can't hardly wait!!!!!

Is it time to go yet?!?!

I have been on one night hunt and although it was somewhere's around 2 or 3 degrees above zero.......it was one of the best times I had hunting. I got to share the moment with ridge-runner (Scott) and schloopy (John) also. I must have missed the night hunt thread.....but I am ready to go again.

Counting down the days..........

Watercolor......I dont know why you bothered to clean your boots, since I plan on dragging you to the creek again this year....and if you painted your avatar pic...I love it

I want to camp where we can have a fire and shower(not the creek bathing ) and music and dancing around the campfire....and singing...or howling at the moon...LOL...I will bring a big dutch oven of stew or chili or something in case you all want a snack and a big coffee pot....anyone who can play a musical instrument ,bring them....so whereever the rest of you camp, thats where I want to be

I plan on winning the cow chip contest this year because I have been practicing my cheating throwing technique

I WISH IT WAS LESS 98!

Gerg are you sure you want the late night? You and Baggins ? ::)

Cyber,

I was wondering where you were hiding out! Glad you are on board now and you and "Saint Ellen" plan on coming. Mental Granny, I hope your power stays on and ya'll can stay warm....thats important when there is a foot of snow outside!!

Is it time yet???

Steve ;D

Right now cold and windy its all south and west of us yet! People falling bad wrecks I40 all over the town of Hobart no power, OKC ares some no power, my daughters college class for tonight canceled and those are 1 block from me, other places they are having thunderstorms, frezzing rain, sleet and snow. I hope it is still ok when I go to get the kids from school later! ::) I may go trade the van out for the jeep (4 wheel drive!) then Jeff can drive the van home (its only 2 blocks)

I want sunshine !! I want to complain about how hot it is at least you can get around ! :icon_sunny:

Nothing hitting the ground here yet? And for those that don't know I40 is the main way across the stat of Oklahoma going east and west -- if your north and south I35. so when these are a problem you don't go anywhere.

Thanks Dennis I will keep cking that! :-\ For posting it -- ;D

I don't plan on going anywhere but to pick up the kids from school

Same here I will go get the grandkids and stay with them till mom gets off work at 4, dad does not get off til 10pm. No school closings here! ;D Well they won't have to go to school on good Friday.
It is not bad cold wise if it wasn't for the wind, before the wind it s 28. Cold but not terrible! :coffee2:

I already went out and serviced the generator and filled up the water jugs just in case

We got food and water no generator! But, got gas logs. Went to wally world for cat food last night and in front they had water in fact all over the store water cases of it. And scrappers and de-icer and ice melt and 3 or 4 generators they were $638. if I remember right!
Got a pot of deer chili going but.
Anadarko is out of power and Lawton is losing it they are having reports already of trees down.
Now these are still SW of us way southwest.
