For those of you who met me last year, you all know that I am not one to be at a loss for words. But, today I am. As some of you who are FACEBOOK know, I have been busy with some medical issues...................as well as a not-so-nice divorce........and the selling of my house. As such, my time for MDng and the internet has been somewhat slim...almost nonexistent.
So....you can imagine my shock and horror when I received a phonecall today from Evelyn, telling me that Jeff had passed away last week. I am currently on the road, driving to Kerrville, TX from Manassas, VA to start my new chapter in Life. I cannot begin to express the total shock of STONEY's passing. Last year was the first that I had met any of you, yet.....after the hunt, I felt like I have known each of you for decades. And, I can honestly say that each of have a special thought or memory about Jeff. I know I do. And I will miss him.
IF I can.....I truly hope to make it to this hunt.

A few announcements and tidbits. We are extending the hunt for three days and not just two. You can hunt the site Saturday, Sunday, and Monday if you wish. No meetings on Monday just hunting and saying goodbye. Plan accordingly to your schedule. Some are traveling a long ways so I thought you needed longer to hunt. We will also have a bonfire cookout on Saturday night right on the Chisholm Trail. Bring your hot dogs and marshmellows or what ever to cook. Bring your music instruments or just clap.
Our site has been changed for more hunters. The other was just a little small. This site is around 40 acres of pasture. If it needs mowing we will do so. We might have an added attraction at the hunt. Some riding bulls may be pinned up near our site. We insist that you stay a way from them but can take pictures from a safe distance. I am not wanting to own a $4000 dollar bull that gets hurt.
Will keep you informed of other items such as what is going on down town for nonhunters.

If you can cross the pasture in 9.5 seconds you are OK. The bulls can make it in 10.
