The image that evy posted was seen all over the Pacific and europe during WW2.The image was also put on every available area here in the states,including buses,it was the graffiti of the times but no one minded.There was actually two people who claimed he started the craze,and it has really never been proven who it was.Yes,the shipyard inspector was one of them and without researching a little more,I can't remember who the other guy was.

We're home from the hospital, I guess is safe to say the surgery went well, but there was intensive damage to the rotary cuff, chiseled some bone out and if not mistaken a screw put in. I know that he has 3 holes in the area...will have to wear the pillowed sling for the next 6 wks. No lifting on that arm period, and nothing picked up over 5 lbs for the next 3 mos. I'm tired, achy, throat sore (freezing cold in those hospitals) I'm hitting the bed.

I just came back from checking the Motel 6 on I-35 at the South Haven exit. It is completely remodeled inside and out. I saw new beds, new carpets, and new refrigeraters in the room. They have internet. They offer many discounts including senior discounts. They will work with you on price with groups. This is the nearest motel to the hunt. The regular price is:
single $47.82
2 person $53.56
They suggested getting rooms early since it is a weekend. The number to call. 620-892-5271 Mention Chisholm Trail Hunt.
The restuarant will be completed by May. Gas station and mini-mart open now.

Dan(Noodle's A$$)had to have them go back in,surgery.He had a blockage after the first surgery.He is in ICU at this time.Noodle will give an update later.She has no family with her so she has been put through the ringer.Lot of problems with the hospital/doctor.
