These are just the gold finds from yesterdays South Florida CTX3030 water hunt on a popular tourist beach. The CTX3030 is one heck of an addition to any beach and water hunters detecting arsenal and for part time beach hunters like myself it is the perfect choice when you want to make the most of your beach hunting time. When I got to the beach yesterday morning at 6.30am there was already five other guys detecting in the water and two in the wet sand so I relied on the best features of the new machine to improve my chances.
I rejected the pennies and ignored the obvious quarter signals, in effect leaving "anchor" finds for the other water hunters in the area while I concentrated on listening for low tones and checking the detect screen for high probability gold finds. These gold finds came out of a very trashy stretch of water and even though I was in effect ignoring quarters I was still able to pull out two silver bracelets and two silver ear rings. All the gold jewelry is 14K except the 10K locket.
Happy hunting.
Gary

This is the report I was waiting for Gary.... now, will you still use a GT and Excal? Or are they now dedicated backups?
Nice finds!

That was a terrific hunt, Gary; beautiful jewelry finds!

I finished reading your very informative book, and I enjoyed every page of it.

Thanks for writing it....great book!

Hi Cliff
Of course I will never stop using my Excalibur and Sovereign GT as they both have a place in my beach and water hunting plans. I can do things with the Excalibur that I cannot do with the Sovereign GT and I can now do things with the CTX3030 that I could not do with both the Excalibur & Sovereign GT. Metal detectors can pay for themselves with valuable finds in a relatively short time, in my opinion it is always a good idea to have at least two beach and water hunting machines.
Cheers Gary.

Do you teach a class or need an apprentice:laughing7: Those are great finds especially being picky with what you dig. I have a few years to go before I'll be able to do anything in the ballpark of that I'm sure.

Awesomer! Multiple gold days are always sweet.

Gary, Congrats on the great finds. I'm amazed by this new Minelab machine!!! I've been trying to decide which new weapon to add to the arsenal, Blisstool or CTX 3030? You convinced me!!!! I'm ordering a CTX 3030!!!!

Sure would be nice to see some videos finding stuff in action. Seeing is believing as they say.
