Found this yesterday while metal detecting. I know NOTHING about old bottle but still bring home the ones that catch my eye. I tried to google to see what I could find. Thought possibly it was a medicine bottle of some sort, but I believe it’s a whiskey bottle from after prohibition due to the federal law warning across it. One thing I found said Fleischmann blended whiskey, but after searching for those, can’t find one like this. I’m sure it’s not terribly old due to I think being a twist top. Any ideas?

Yep, it's a whiskey bottle, probably late 1940s, or 50s. That "55" on the bottom might mean 1955, I'm not sure though. I believe these bottles had that concave shape on the one side so that they could rest comfortably against your body while carrying it around.

Ah that would be why it’s flask shaped. Makes sense!
