Out today to one of my go-to sites in the winter. Go figure, after the cold temps hitting the minus 40's last week, the river was completely frozen over. Up for the challenge, I hacked a hole in the shallow water, and found enough current to easily run the ity-bity river sluice with my material classified to 1/2". It started raining, and I cut the afternoon short, having concerns about driving home safely. I ran about one 4 gallon pail through in about 45 minutes, then left, and made it home safely!

Toes got a little cold, the rest of me was fine. After -40's earlier in the week, it was actually quite balmy.

You would be right beside me splashing in the water getting some of that vitamin "G."
