I went to a local park to kill time and got lucky with the general service button and 16 cents clad. Is the black patina an applied enamel or something? I've seen it before on another coat size ww1 I found. Also I cant read the back mark. It doesnt look like it says Scovill so I dont know. 20191030_140004.webp

I also found this copper wrapped handle a couple months ago and finally dropped it in lemon juice. It really shines up with all the cuts in the sheet of copper. Not sure it's copper because it cleaned up so perfectly. Might be gilt on copper. Any ideas what a handle like this would have been on? Lady sized.20191003_170215.webp
The handle is in this pic of a prior post, all dirty.

Possibly a fancy lipstick case? I really don't know but it's nice looking whatever it is
