Life is definitely a comedy. We offer postage free returns. Customer refused and instead demands money to have it repaired. The sad part is that her demand will probably be satisfied (just makes more business sense than fighting with her.)

Just for some perspective (so as not to discourage new dealers from using ebay) this is one customer who I believe is a genuine scammer out of thousands of flawless transactions this year. Plenty of difficult custies in their, but this is the first one in a while that seems an actual fraudster.

man i like that arrowhead.

You know what is weird every time I have one of these BS complaints or scam. It is always seems to be some one in California.

I have had a few try to pull a fast one but i was faster. And one was from CALI too, only about 15-20 miles from me. I could tell by the address she was from the hood. The latest was from Florida or at least that is where i shipped his item. He wanted a refund after 5 weeks and said he couldn't ship the item back from Coasta Rica then he opened a case. I called and ebay closed the case right away. He waited too long and moved the item out of the country.

My guy bought a micro cassette recorder w/ cassette. He waits until the non-payment warning hits him. Then the moment he pays, he constantly asks for shipping info. Four weeks later, he says the recorder does not work. I told him to send it back for a full refund. He sends it back without the micro cassette. I sent him an email telling him I will only do a partial refund if he does not send the cassette too, since it was part of the action. He paid $15 plus shipping. If he doesn't send it, I'll give him $10 at most. I'm guessing he needed to record something and just wanted to rent the recorder and keep the cassette. Ok…$12 rental fee sounds reasonable to me…since I didn't plan to rent anything. But if he sends the cassette, I refund the price plus original shipping cost.

I have bought from eBay, Amazon, Newegg, etc. I've never had a problem with receiving the item. I have only had problems twice with what I received. One was an accordion that arrived with some of the buttons sticking. I sent an email, got a reply, sent the accordion back, and received a good one in less than a week. The other problem was an item that was broken when I received it. I just pitched it into the trash can under my desk because it was an item costing less than $2 including shipping. If I had paid for insurance, or if it had been an expensive item, I would have done differently. When the seller kept asking if I had received it and if so, would I please rate the sale, I sent an email telling what had happened. I was asked to return the item for a refund or replacement. I repeated that I had thrown it away and not to worry about it. Again, I was asked if there was anything that could be done to satisfy me. I told the seller that I was fully satisfied and did not want any compensation for the small loss. I also told him that the next time I ordered something from him I would probably order this same item again. I also gave him a positive rating because he did his part and I paid him for it. I'm certain it was the delivery people that broke it.

I tell them to send it back and I'll be glad to refund them. 19 out of 20 times I never hear another peep out of them. You have correspondence with her conflicting excuses/statements. I would not offer her anything but a refund after I received my item back, period. Sometimes it's about the principle of the situation.

Ten years ago I bought an electric remote control air plane on ebay for $23.00 - the package arrived -They Sent Me 2 Planes ! I emailed them - they told me it was their mistake & just keep the xtra one . That was good - after a few days the first one I crashed several times while learning how to fly it . The second plane came in handy !

I hate those that wait for the non payment notice then the very next day after paying sending you emails where is my stuff have you shipped it yet I really need this before the weekend ect .and im like if you would have paid 3 weeks ago you would have it "before the weekend" LOL
