anyone here have a stone cutter & polish-grinder?

I am interested in starting another chapter of my hobby by getting a ROCK RASCAL 6" saw/combo.

the saw combo i am looking at also has a grinding wheel on the right side, cant wait to get it if the price is right.

anyone have one of these?
The rock shop near me also has another used machine i may be able to get for under $100

He has a couple machines.

do you make any money on ebay with your creations?

I am buying this unit because i have a HUGE supply of that ever so popular Ellensburg Blue Agate i found over Memorial day weekend.

Seriously? Nobody here cuts and shapes any of the stones they dig up or finds in hopes of making a few bucks?

an ellensburg blue agate ring?

I hesitate to mention I cut an polish stones...it is an on again, off again type of activity...
sometimes I just don't have the patience to follow through...
I have a ten inch saw/polish rig just now,...and a fordom flex shaft, and silver an turquoise...

go for the least pricie tool until you find if you have the patience to cut rock...

i am getting a used machine with trimmer saw (6") grinding wheel & polishing barrel that uses paper belts, i will have to buy a rubber backed side plate to put felt on. also getting a belt operated table top buffing wheel, kinda old but its under $100 to start so i cant really beat that lol!

I like making things so i think this would be a great boredom filler on those weekends i cant go out and play in the woods.

i will however have to clean all the old oil buildup off the saw combo.

its like this one in the image, 6" trim blade, grinder wheel & one drum sanding wheel on the one i am getting. have to add a buffing plate on the side.
