SOLD: Fisher CZ-6a in excellent, well cared for condtion.

Said I would never sell this machine, but since I've come down with a hopeless
case of "Gold Fever", I need to let it go so the proceeds can be re-invested
in a quality gold machine.

This CZ-6a and I have spent many a day together hunting old schools, parks and
playfields around W. Washington, and it never once let me down by not operating
perfectly. My partner had a CZ-5 (another deep coin killer) and this CZ-6a was always
able to get as strong, or stronger response on his deep targets than his machine (and
we both knew our machines very well). I have not detected much since then, and
that was back in the mid-90's, but the detector was always stored with the
batteries out, and carefully put away indoors.

After each day of use I would clean the machine well, as it just makes sense to take
good care of a detector that you rely on to perform well for you in the field. Although
there are a few light scratches on the plastic band around the case, the machine is
otherwise in clean, superb condition. I have checked it out thoroughly and it is performing
just as it should. Target depth, ID and Audio ID are nearly dead-on, easily ground balances and
was just tested on targets down to 8" deep without any issues at all. Pinpointing is as
easy as it gets, as the CZ-6a pinpoints to the center of the coil, so once you've pinpointed
the spot, all you need to do is reach down and stick a finger in the center hole of the coil
and you're dead on top of your target.

Includes the CZ-6a detector with original 8" Spider Coil. Headphones are needed, as the
case is sealed as a part of the factory's making the 6a "water resistant". I do not have
the original manual, however Fisher has made a manual for the CZ-5 available in pdf., and
as far as I recall the two machines controls/functions are identical:

http://www.fisherlab.com/hobby/manuals/CZ-5opmanual_002.pdf

Considering the machines condition, I am asking $425.00, which includes USPS Priority
Shipping to any US location
. I would ask that the buyer pay the shipping insurance, if desired.

See pics below, and please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Would consider a trade for
an equally well cared for Gold Bug 2 or Gold Bug Pro.

Mike

(ps: tried to edit the post (per the instructions, above) and can find no place where I can
change the prefix to [SOLD].

I should add that I am open to offers. I picked the $425 starting point as after reviewing
many past ads for CZ's I can see that my unit is in much better condition, and I KNOW this
machine will find coins/relics as deep or deeper than any comparable detector on the market
today. Are there other machines available in the $400 range that will give you the incredible
performance of a CZ-6a?

Still, if you feel I am asking too much, then feel free to make an offer and we can negotiate
from there. I am planning my first gold hunting trip for early April, so I need to get this sold
and get the GoldBug2 on order.

To all who responded and made offers...thank you for your interest in the
machine. I have accepted a full price offer from a T-net member, so the machine
is now SOLD.

Yelnif: I was using a rather vintage set of Garrett Master Sound headphones. No doubt
that there are far better headphones available today, and in fact I'll be
ordering new ones with my new machine (whatever I ultimately decide on).

Again, thank you all for the interest, and I only wish I had a couple more!
