D.M. & co. Padlock

Looking for info or a link to the maker and value of this padlock .The lock works with no problem .Any help would be appreciated thanks

I believe the manufacturer is Davenport and Mallory. I don't know the value but I have found similar locks and have been told this is who made them. I think they date around the 1860's.

The company started in 1834 and went out of business in 1910.

D and M mass produced padlocks at the rate of 2,000 per day, then sold them for fifty cents per dozen.
