Day 12 - Big Grass Field......

Only did 4 hours today.

We are now in the middle section on the high ground.

2 Roman coins, one slightly better one.

2 Lead tokens, 2 pieces of roman pottery shards.

Pleased with the Tudor Book Clasp with the Rose pattern (first with this decoration). Plus it was bent double when I found it.
Nice mini medieval strap junction (looks like a cross design for a hole)
Medieval belt decor
and bits.....

Even if it takes to day 40 we are going to get something special eventually

Thanks, I hope so. If not I will move on the the next section & keep going until our new land is ready at harvest. (then strike it off the list, sometimes nice to finish a field & not have to worry about returning)

Cheers, with all the bending (sounds wrong) I've done you get to know when to try & when to leave. Until I straighten it I had no idea it had a rose.
