Took the AT out do some low tide wet sand hunting, and found squat, except for some hot rocks that gave a bit of a signal. Will be fiddling this weekend some to find the right settings for the wet sand beaches here.
To console myself and try to get some confidence back, I decided to try the beach playground from yesterday again. Found more clad, a fork for the drawer and what I thought was a ball of foil when I dug it.
Upon inspection when packing up, it was clearly a letter with coins wrapped in plastic! Unfortunately the plastic leaked and message was not readable when I opened it. Also unfortunate there were only 7 Lincoln's in the baggy... But the thrill was there for a bit!
