Went out this morning to a local park which seemed to have some potential from my last time there. I figured I would test what others have been telling me and see how it plays out. WOW! Much less trash, and 90 percent of the trash I dug I knew was going to be trash before I dug it. I even dug 2 wheaties, one 1920 and a 1948. I also dug a round thing that looks like it may have been a coin a looong time ago, but who knows? The two bottle caps I dug, I knew were bottle caps before I dug, thanks to the iron audio. I dug them just to verify I'm hearing them right.

Also, the X technique works flawlessly instead of pinpointing. All the depths displayed were pretty accurate.

Overall, I think I'm in love. I ordered a 5x8 dd coil from Bart at Big Boys Hobbies just because I know I'm going to have this machine for a long time. Thank you all for the help learning this! These forums rock!

If u think u like the pro now with the stock coil,I wonder What ull think when u pop on the 5x8 everything changes for the better ( hard to beleive but ohh ya it geta better) hh

I'm psyched for it now!

Glad the X method worked for you! I use it a lot more than the pin pointing feature. I always turn 90 degrees around a target anyway,to check it's signal, and after thinking about it one day, I realized I knew where the target was without pin pointing it! LOL!

Yeah, I did the same today. The only reason I even pressed the pinpoint button was to see how close it was to my x mark. I don't even use it now, which makes getting the loot even quicker! Excellent tip

5x8 results at the park today. I may never take it off100_6584.webp:laughing7:

Wish mine was here!:BangHead: I'm ready!:laughing7:

I know, in this day in age when everything is instant, still gotta wait for the mail... Lol. Just more excitement when the delivery guy shows up, I think I just about stared out my window until mine showed up the day it was due for delivery
