After my lucky hour & a half yesterday I wasn't expecting much.

First dig was a silver sixpence - 1941.

Spent 3 hours on my own again.

I'm pleased with the 14th century buckle as it means I might get other medieval stuff as well.

The 1697 Farthing is in OK condition for the soil in my area.

Very hot again, so I had to stick my head in the horse trough to cool down.

I have no idea, but most likely 17th century.

Very nice indeed. First round of Blue Moons is on me  Do you ever find any pieces of armor or weaponry from the middle ages ?

I'm not lucky enough to have battlefields nearby, so no armour or weapons yet!
