Well ventured back out to my newest Cellar hole for 1 last time until the vegetation clears..
Started off slow but quickly picked up after a while..

Got a killer colonial buckle :headbang:
I think its a womans..

A cool Rosette i think :dontknow:

A Rhode Island Militia button from the Civil War in great shape :headbang:

Man i look at this button and realize this button was on the battlefields fighting :o

I know the name of the 1870 resident of this cellar and could possibly trace this button to the owner :read2:

I though the NH were the most detailed, RI is great too :o
that shoe buckle came through the years nicely, quite a delicate design.

That's a bunch of nice finds!

I love that buckle. It's rare to dig an intact one of that size, at least it is for me. Great find!

another great day at the cellar hole i really like the buckle and the two piece button, i have a cellar hole site and now that the leaves are sadly turning color just in the past three days so maybe i can give it a go again, but only a small handful of decent finds have come from it tho.
