DAY 4 new Cellar yields more colonial relics and a Civil War surprise..

Well ventured back out to my newest Cellar hole for 1 last time until the vegetation clears..
Started off slow but quickly picked up after a while..

Got a killer colonial buckle
I think its a womans..

A cool Rosette i think

A Rhode Island Militia button from the Civil War in great shape
My favorite find of the day

Some different style buckles..

A cool lock

A cool assortment of buttons

But no coins today at all

Also found a coyote skull or some big dog like animal

Had a great day out there man..

Man i look at this button and realize this button was on the battlefields fighting

Being Militia an all makes it special to me

I know the name of the 1870 resident of this cellar and could possibly trace this button to the owner

I found this cellar on an 1870 beers map

Research is key...

another great day at the cellar hole i really like the buckle and the two piece button, i have a cellar hole site and now that the leaves are sadly turning color just in the past three days so maybe i can give it a go again, but only a small handful of decent finds have come from it tho.
