Well, my bride's Irises are almost done blooming ... and now it's time for the Day Lillies to start. We have a pinkish one blooming already, but it's in the shade and too dark at this late hour to capture (Motion blur from my camera movements :( )

Here's a couple pics of the buds.

Dang, 40% of our grass hasn't even started greening up yet after Winter! :-\

Our daylilies are starting to open up but this years crop has been stunted by a late hard freeze. Here's one that survived the cold snap.

Ok, keep bragging :laughing7: ... I gotta cut grass again this weekend, yard looks like a jungle already and we mowed less than 2 weeks ago --- just been too wet to mow this week.

Those are some nice blooms and your plants look very healthy as well. Between the cold snap and current drought here our lilys are suffering. With that being said I can take my wife to Bell's Daylily Garden if we want to see some of the best flowers around. They have over 900 varieties and new introductions every year. Here's a link if you are interested. Click on the 2017 introductions, "Blue Pools" is awesome. https://bellsdaylilygarden.com/general-listings/

Nice pictures.:headbang:... Try spraying them with a spray water bottle to get water droplets on them and take a couple pictures, should look nice.

I don't want to hijack Chadeux's thread so I will start my own with a few of the lilys I have blooming now.

Did you know those are eatable? Can't walk by one without taking a sample.:laughing7:

GOD Bless

Chris

If you wish, but I wouldn't consider it hijacking my thread. If you wish, post away!

Thank you for allowing me to post mine in your thread. My problem is that the blooms are not opened when I leave for work in the morning and are about gone by the time I get home. Maybe there will be some good ones this weekend.

Now, this one is almost red . . .

Another Peach . . . with lots of friends.

Had a toad strangler for about 20 minutes today, then the rain was over.

We got almost an inch of rain overnight but not near enough to ease the drought.
