Thanks for all the comments on my other post. I am learning much about the AT Pro.. I noticed Nickels is 50-51, pull tabs, B tails, and pull tab rings, are 48-54. Copper pennies are 80-81. Clad Dimes are 81-86. Once I get a super good feel for the unit, I will go over what i went over already. Using Pro Zero, and digging every good target. going to try and find my first GOld anything.

I would have a close look at the clad dime that came in at 86.never seen that.thats a quarter signal or in best case a shallow flat silver dime.I assume you ground balance often.your atp is gonna bring you many great finds, even the garrett haters are kind of over bashing it.great job on the ring !!!
:occasion14:

good job by you! Whats the ring look like?

Congrats on the ring and all those targets. Looks like you had a busy hunt... It sure is fun learning a new machine.

Congrats on your first ring! Now that you've broken the ice your first gold ring won't be far behind :occasion14:

That one quarter looks like silver, from your photo. I like that bottle opener!

Quarters are almost always 86 on my machine. I found a small piece of gold jewelry broken off of a necklace or earing the other day and it came in as a solid 57 on every sweep. Pull tabs are usually 53. Good luck~
