Today was a bonus day. I meet the farmer next door to the field I'm doing, whilst he was planting a new hedge. So asked him to detect where I think the Bronze Age Settlement is. He said yes. EXCELLENT, the only land I can't do in our area is the Church Commission land as they had a case of a detectorist not giving up his half of the loot & put a flat ban on all their land. This case was over 15 years ago and the Laws are much better now. But its their loss.

Found a silver ring with a 'Standard Silver' marked on it & a markers mark of P.V.
A decorative Silver stud probably of an old belt??
Very Rare Tin Farthing with copper plug of JAMES II - 1687. (ÂŁ3000 in EF) Mines not even Poor, but I need it.
Geo II Halfpenny
1919 Halfpenny
Couple of broken buckles - 16th & 17th Century
AB - Horse decor

Nice old finds you came up with ,Congrats

Eddy

What amazes me is the AGE of some of the stuff you guys get over there. I'm lookin' for a penny that's pre-1850. How many pre-1700 coins have you dug ?? SO cool.
