Daytondigger visits again. Another first for me V style and a bit o silver

Daytondigger made a short visit for the holidays to his parents and off we went today on a scrip hunt. He has a great spot, but it is very overgrown and full of large trash items.

I did however pull out this 1942 S Merc. My 3rd Merc detecting and the first one that was not 1945.

Later we moved back to a spot I took him before. A few good coins for him I am sure he will be posting them.

For me 1907 V Nickel. Woo Hoo a first!! The back is slick and can't even see a V or hardly anything, but its a first.

Otherwise got an uncle sam's play dime, clad dime, and 3 clad pennies.

Thanks again for the visit Daytondigger. I am glad your family is down here. Good to have a hunting partner from time to time. Can't wait to see you next time you venture this way. Or even better when I have the ability to come and see you. Up there where peps had coins to lose long ago. LoL unlike down here where we get lucky and find a good coin from time to time.
