Finally! A sunny warm day and the ground wasn't mud soup, so I went to our local 70 year old park nearby. Unfortunately there's no chance of Barbers, Seated or Injuns based on its age. Started off with my Etrac swinging my 13" x 12" Tornado coil with a Sunray X-1 probe installed and it's a tank. With shoulder problems I could only swing it for two hours before I was toasted. I'm here to tell ya, I have that Etrac set up that it "screams" when it hits silver. Switched to my Equinox 600 and it felt like a feather compared to my tank with everything on it save a drink holder
It's an adjustment switching machines because the tones are completely different. The 1957 Rosie sounded exactly like a previous wheatie I dug and almost didn't dig it because I was running out of gas. And speaking of "wheaties"... It's a shame the older wheaties are coming out of the ground in bad shape. For the date on most of them you get 191? and the like because of corrosion as you all know. Anyway, fed my addiction and I'm good to go until my next craving... By the way, the toy car was a surface find at the tot lot.
