Death of an old friend

Hey hey diggers!
When I was out detecting yesterday I suddenly learned of the death of a dear old friend. We have known each other since 2007 when we first met. Side by side over the years out detecting and finding treasure in the heat of summer , cold of winter, and all the other wise rainy or perfect day for detecting...we were there together. This is one individual who has never ever let me down. I will miss the company.
Gone from this world but never forgotten.
The best damn pinpointer you could ever want, from 2007 my OG Propointer...it served me well for 17 years right up til yesterday.
I should complain to Garrett for such a piece of equipment lol
This one wasnt built at 4:44 pm on a Friday ...it was solid.

you can send it in and get it repaired. I sent my old one back to garrett about 6 years ago and I believe it was a reasonable cost, came back in a new housing. I use my old one and have a carrot as a back-up.

The poor thing doesnt owe me a dime so I'm ready to let it go on the wall with all the rest of my defunct detecting gear I've used over the years
I have another one to use so I'm not going without
