Decent day on the river

I found a few keepers and some broken ones. The wind drove the tide back in faster than usual cutting the day short. Still fun to get out of the house.


I kept this too. It is rounded but has a edge on it similar to an axe. Fits in the hand perfect. Not sure if they had small hand axes to chop smaller things or not??it also has some wear similar to what you would see on a grinding stone

Those are some great finds! Not sure about the cobble though, it's hard to tell unless they are unbroken but I would have brought it back too, got a pile of them outside my garage doors lol
