Decline in copper pennies

Your current averages are closer to reality, IMHO.

Thirty-six boxes isn't really a bit enough group to get accurate data for average copper per box. You probably just got some really hot boxes in the beginning, which skewed your percentages. I've got > 150 boxes through the Ryedale (shameless plug :laughing7: ) and my averages are right around 23%. Doesn't really vary too much. I'm in Tennessee, by the way.

I'm in Arizona, and run about 17% - 18% copper when I run my wonderful, wouldn't trade it for the world, Ryedale machine. (Okay, so maybe not AS shameless of a plug) And with rare exception I"m staying steady with that number in the last 2 years. (once in a while I get a box of someone's dumps, and run 0% copper, but I delete that from the records, as it is not accurate as to what I am getting)

I am seeing more 2011 pennies creep in though, and that must decrease the overall return in the next few months. No 2012 cents yet.
