I found this furniture piece, or some kind of jewelry? Back in the spring. It's copper or tin.
Any ideals on a date?

This relic may have come from any number of things. As you mentioned, furniture decoration or possibly even part of a late-Georgian or Victorian Period sash buckle. Sash buckles and pins were mostly worn most in the Victorian and Edwardian Periods. This photo shows a lady wearing a buckle at her waist in the same position a sash pin would be worn.
