Found this about a foot deep in the wet sand here in a secluded Southern California Beach. I've found Mercs and Buffs and a 1904 Indian Head penny here...and 3 types of Silver halves ... Kennedy. Franklin, and standing Liberty. Usually very few modern coinage.
This looks to be stainless steel with an inside diameter of 2.91 and outside diameter of 3.03. The inside (and outside) diameter is tapered.
I suspect some decorative use, possibly 50 to 60+ years old. I hope someone recognizes it.
