That was my point that Art is subjective, therefore undefinable. What I like isn't necessarily what you'll like so art can't be defined so it can't be criticized it is what ever it is to each individual. You French, got at least three compliments on what you meant to be a joke. So the only truth to art is do you like it and if so what will you pay to own it. I laugh at what some people hang in their homes and then tell me the vast sums of money they have paid for it. My walls are covered with pictures of my loved ones. Very intresting indeed i was thinking te same thing today, How can any one be a art critic when art can hardly be definened.
Art is in the eye of the beholder of course. But I belive good art snags the relationship thing.

My piece was a poor excuse for fake Art, The only thing going for (in the fake art department) , is the crying rose has been done to death, as trillatahunt pointed out, its a reproduction just a diffrent media.

Fake art I belive could onlybe a reproduction of real art.
But ART, what makes it stand out. I can only say (like a good joke) relativity. everyone understands it. Perhaps in thier own way but they all feel a relationship with it, so they are somehow touched by it.

But I will agree Cancel all funds for Art, as we have education right here for free.
If arts not from the Heart but because one has been payed to produce it, its Perhaps fake as well.

Kinda like getting paid for sex (I guess, (BIG discalimer here)). Shallow, unsatisfying.

Tolstoy is a excellent reffrence and excatly what Iv been after.
