Does anyone live or hunt around Del Rio? I will be down there in a couple of weeks visiting and was looking for a place to go or someone to go with...d2

Hey D2, I don't live out there but am a lease member just outside of Comstock. There are some really cool places to cruise around out there and some of the little towns are really old. I have not yet MD out there anywhere but if you do some research online there are some historic places out there.

Seminol Canyon has a bunch of pictographs and such and Lake Amistad is a very clear nice Lake (big to).

Thanks, Shaw. My oldest baby boy works for the Border Patrol out there and is working nights and they dont allow me to ride along anymore since I retired. So while he is sleeping during the day I need to occupy myself some how. I have been to Amistad befor and will check with the park rangers and see if they allow metal detecting around the swimmin' holes. I was just hopeing that some one lived there that wouldnt mind me hanging out with 'em a day or two...d2
