It happens, I have some branches that will wait till they have till they need a coin order for the bank before they will order my coins, that could be the case with your order, I have also recently encountered a branch that their central vault didn't have enough in it to fill my order and had to wait 5 more days for them to replenish the central vault for my order. HH, Maverick.

Sometimes the person that orders coins just plain forgets to add your halves to the order. Sometimes, as Mav said, they will only order halves when they are ordering coins for the bank. They won't put in a order for your halves only. And sometimes they either don't want to order your halves every week, or at all. Instead of just telling you, they will for some reason stall you by saying, "I forgot", or "They didn't come in", etc.

Banks screw up orders from time to time. It's just part of the hobby.

I alway buy their dimes when they forget to order my halves, or when competition takes my halves before I get there. This encourages them to make sure my half boxes are still around, as to not interfere with business customers' coins.

Yeah they forgot one day, then they didn't come in the next couple. Success tho, today was the day!

Here are my finds. Finally got one with paint, and a weird gold plated and stamped. No comp tonight. Going through first box of dimes.

I've made it through 4900 of my dimes. Looking at every single one.

Was able to get through 7,500 dimes tonight. If I dream about dimes, I will never search a box of them again.

it happens the most around bank holidays, if its a small branch, it is possible you are still feeling the effects of presidents day "lag"
