Re: Seeing with the mind's eye

Nastradamus is said to have scryed using a glass of wine he stared into. Probably drank some, too. I also heard Abbe Mermet drank wine when he dowsed. A little bit is okay to help you relax after a day at work, but I would not recommemd it.

Any type of dowsing takes practice to get to where you can do it without thinking about it. I know everyone wants to take the shortcut but the only shortcut is to get some one-on-one lessons from an experienced instructor. Highly recommended. There is a lot more to it than just walking along until the rods cross as some would have you believe.

Hey Mike, Webster in "Dowsing for Beginners" retells how a glass of whiskey was said to help with dowsing. http://books.google.ie/books?id=2TA...AoQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=whiskey dowsing&f=false

Interesting, becausea small amount of alcohol boosts body temperature and circulation and Abbé Mermet recommended 2 things : - try and esnure that the pendulum is warm (heat it for effect and notice the increased amplitude of swings) and secondly to ensure that the body, but especially hands, are warm when dowsing.

Using the mind's eye to dowse (be it through using a mental pendulum or via remote viewing) is something that is covered in Silva Ultramind.
