I took these pictures on our place in near Quemado, New Mexico, The elevation here is around 7500 ft., shucks, we had snow in the middle of May and it really didn't warm up at nights until the middle of June. Maybe the reason for later blooming than in the lower elevation. Gald you enjoyed them. For a plant that can give you a little pain they sure have pretty flowers, and that's why I keep them around.
Nice pics, mjido. I like the prickly pear and cholla. Cholla, beside mesquite, is the reason God gave us chaps for ridin through brush and workin cattle. Our last snow was middle of June and it still hasn't what you would say warmed up at night here in the middle of the Rockies.
