I went in last night to pick up a Lesche tool, and it was probably the best retail experience I've ever had. Great staff, great hangers-about, great selection, a 10% discount for no good reason whatsoever, tons of information for an idiot newbie like myself... The list goes on.
Stores like Desert Outfitters are the compelling counter-argument against buying on-line. I will *never* purchase another metal detecting / prospecting / relic hunting item from anyone but them.
