I was out in Nevada this week and these are some shots of abandoned places I passed by. The old stone building out on hwy 50 Nevada is said to have been a pony express station at one time. The main drag in my town once had an old filling station when I first moved here, but these days we'er all about new development, so down it went. You can only imagine that these old places had a prosperous life at one time along with the sights and sounds and all the people who were involved with these old structures long ago.

Love these Grant!....Hard to pick a favorite, but really like the natural stone ruins.

Man, buildings will stand a long time in the desert. Cool shots. Like Ron, I love the old stone house. All the rocks are fitted! Maybe the ancient aliens helped out there too!

Very good shots! :icon_thumleft:

Nice pics. Lots of history in those places.

i want the gps coords for those spots

someday I may need to hide out

These places are scattered about in Central Utah and Nevada. Some folks have found this region of the country to be a great place to hide out.
Robbers Roost History

Interesting. I never knew of all the Morman family ties to some of those outlaws.

Thank you for sharing!
