Desperate times-what is it-checked to soon now it is "Solved"

Desperate times. I could not use my MD because I am taking care of a older friend so I walked down the road and found the things below laying on the ground, that is except for picture one. Picture one is junk from the other day when I did get to use my MD. The only thing there is a attitude adjuster which is probably a broken pipe wrench...and a hinge I think plus all the trash

The next pictures are the one I wanted to see what they are. The sickle mower blade and marbles are from a building that was pushed down and burnt and I know what there are of course. They were on my families property.

The other items were across the road and is a storage building and barn that was pushed down and burnt down by the city. The large item has a porcelain knob one side that reads Jefferson 1001, what is it? The other small items I am curious about also, the little white piece is marked F.P.ING 5 1/2 ALLIGATOR, the long white piece is marked KNOX 5 1/2, the other piece is not marked. I think they are mechanical or part of tools?

Thanks

Re: Desperate times-what is it??

I'm an ex-phone man - those are phone insulators so it must be some type of switch box

You green checked too early without any proof. ;D I think you have an antique toy transformer from the Jefferson Electric Company and I think its upside down. Cool find. Here is a great site but pics are copyrighted. http://www.roger-russell.com/jeffers/jeftran.htm

It may be for a Lionel train set.

You will find the Knox and Findlay Alligator insulators here. They are old house wiring electrical insulators. http://www.r-infinity.com/Nail_Knobs/Nail_Knobs_p1.htm

I just showed these to my husband and he is a electrician and told me what they were. He told me he had seen a lot of them over the years. :)
