I recently took the BUBBLE up to Gold Basin recently to look for meteorites and do some detecting for gold.
Met Doug on a GPAA claim.

He had 5 nice nuggies in the polk when I came by. BTW, he is NOT a Border Patrol agent. Just a wanna be. He uses an expensive Minelab to recover these nice pieces. I also talked to two other fellows that got three similar pieces this day. They also had Minelab PI machines. I drove up just after they killed a Mohave Green rattlesnake.... the really potent snake in these parts.

I then found this snake as I was driving out.

He wouldn't come out of my vehicle's shade so I drove forward. He then moved off unhurt. TTC

Well Terry it looks like you had a good amount of excitement while 'you all' were out looking for the yellow metal!

Sometimes it does not take much to make the Day Quite exciting even if the rattlesnake is only 1.5' in length as it is still a rattlesnake........63bkpkr

Glad to see you're out there living the golden dream and that you're meeting some fine people while you're at it.

All the best,

Lanny

I'd be so worried about my dog with snakes like that about. I laughed out loud at your yelling in the video "go away, get away from my car". He had a "make me" look about him. Glad he didn't get hurt. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, about as good as alligator. Not good at all, IMHO.

Just like carp, ya gotta bake um on a board coated in butter.....throw the critter away and eat the board.8-)
