Went out to the beach and enjoyed the sounds of all the crashing and breaking of floating ice. Found about $5.75 in coin. When I was done an RCMP officer drove up to me as I was emptying all my tabs and junk out on my truck tailgate, and he says "doing some treasure hunting"?.. I told him I found about 5 bucks in change and made a point to show him my junk also as I held up a big piece of glass and said just cleaning up the beach too. He said good man!. Wish their were more people like you. Makes you feel good after hearing that. Also knowing that's one less piece of glass for some little kiddie to step on.

My god man it's summer, where do you live that they still have snow & ice.???

Lol. Manitoba. We've had a long winter and a slow melting spring. Not normally like this.

Looks like an episode of Bering Sea gold. :icon_thumright:

Great finds and thanks for the photos. Man- that looks cold...

I don't get in the water unless it's 76F or above.

The only place I want to see ice is in my cocktail.

That was nice of the RCMP officer. Sounds like a future detectorist!

With the hip waders on it was pretty warm. Weather was warm but water is not. Lol.

Wow! That does look cold! Awesome photo of the detector and ice!

Refreshing to say the lest!
