Has anyone had good luck detecting areas known to be wreck spots? Thought I'd try one that used to be known (famously) as a wreck area. It's part of what was once a well known road but is now mostly closed off to public access. You can still get to that spot where all the wrecks occured...since the dawn of the automobile. It's known as "dead man's curve".
Think I'll only find beer cans and bent hubcaps?

This is a little dark, but I would be lying if I said that this could be a productive idea.

Depends on the site, but I spend a lot of time scouting for new spots and it would not take a lot of time to qualify the site as good or bad.

Horseshoe Curves wouldn't need too much research.
I would guess there have been roll overs at most Horseshoe Curves.

And also at the Base of most, if not all Steep mountain roads.
Especially those the Come to T's

add long straight roads that Come to a T. Most lead footed Drivers,

would be Hypnotized, By the time they reach the Stop Sign at the end.

the issue would be type of landing.

A rock wall wouldn't leave anything to detect.

fields are just a pain for the farmer to pull out the car with his tractor.
unless they think quick, take it sideways and roll
