detector shuting off

My x-terra350 keeps shutting off. Have new batterys. anyone know the problem jtgold

Had the exact same problem when I had the 70. Every time I went to put the detector down to dig it would shut off, and I know of allot of people that have had the same problem. Here is the fix, I hope. Open your battery door and with a butter knife or something similar bend the battery connector just slightly. It should be a 1 piece connector so you want to bend it like a v but not near that much, just enough to help the batteries connect better. Hope this fixes it.
