[FONT="]Recon from last week showed no new activity in Bravo zone. Gunnery Sgt. Blue Oaf Nose and PFC Guru entered the zone on a seek and destroy mission. It was evident immediately that enemy activity had transpired since that last patrol. PFC Guru was ordered to fill in two tank traps that were 1X1 ft square and 7 inches deep. He grunted as each trap took 6 of his digging spade full of dirt to fill each trap! PFC swore loudly and sweated bullets. If a man is complaining everything in this man's army was okay. If he wasn't something was wrong![/FONT]
[FONT="]Two traps were filled in by PFC Guru at each of the three spots indicated for this mission. The private fought well taking a quota of the enemy along with a pin from the defunct Rainbow Freedom Fighters and a piece of unknown metal that could be used to make an I.E.D.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Returning to base Gunnery Sgt. Nose stopped at the px and hooked up with Specialist Coke on way to the mess to meet up with Capt. Morgan to brief him on todays mission. Nose stated that the reserve diggers and full time swingers must capture the detector terrorist and at the very least bayonet the terrorists coil with their spades! Settling in a chair with good line of sight they watched the Padres and Giants face off.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Capt. Morgan being the leader he is gave Coke and Nose a pep talk stating the war cry of the late great Sgt. Rock of the DC Comicon Rangers , "War is Hell!"[/FONT]
