Popped this Detroit Tigers childs ring today. Thought it was pretty cool. Two crossed bats and a ball on each side. Got two other rings and three buttons. Nothing precious.

Cool ring! Great little relic from the past! Thanks for sharing and congratulations.

Great find...love the Tigers! Wanted to share a quick Tiger's story. After Willie Horton retired from the Tigers, he became a sales rep for a local Michigan company and I was able to spend some time with him.
He remembered the first time he met their new pitcher, Mark Fidrych also known as the bird. Willie and his team mates were throwing the balls around and they see this tall, lanky guy throw his gym bag onto the field and he climbs over the outfield fence and runs onto the field. Mark didn't know how to get into the clubhouse on his first
day.

Thanks for all of your replies. It is definitely a cool ring. I was unable to find anything like it online. Not sure if it came from a gumball machine or from the stadium. The school where it was found was demolished on the fifties. So it was probably from around that time period.

I have one exactly like that other them mine is Baltimore orioles. From what I could find it dates to the early 1960s. Nice find!

So cool :occasion14:
