I'm thinking about buying a Deus. I watched a video on Youtube and the machine was chattering. My question is can you run it quiet without losing any depth? Thank you for your help!

In some instances You can stop the "chattering" by lowering the sensitivity (can reduce depth) and using ground notch.
The Dues is a talkative machine and needs getting used to.
That said it can be made to be a silent runner, but there will be some depth loss.
It's best after getting used to how the Deus talks to open it up little by little and running it "hotter" for better depth.

Yes it can and only looses minimal depth but good targets are very very obvious on the XP with a little time on it. I like to run this particular machine hot because of that.
