I actually found this last yard sale season wanted to share. At first I thought it was some kind of advertising box for a poison, as I was asking seller for history, I spotted 2 guys moving fast to try and buy it out from under me, I slapped the guy 10.00 price he wanted and scurried out with one of my best finds that season.I googled found out limited info think its from military base in missouri. Any info is welcome.

Can't help with the military angle , but that would have to be great value for a Tenner . cheers Mick

Also is their a way to restore it to remove rust? Or better left alone.

Nice buy mydogiscool. I searched and found their was a Company 562 at Camp Devils Elbow in Prichard Idaho. I pulled this information from Biography of Raymond Mingus.

Vp I sent a picture of the box to the guy at the bottom of the link you sent me. Dig I just can't make out the last name due to the rust, but I'm not seeing Thompson, though the font they used makes it hard to tell. Good work guys ,I googled kept coming up with a small town in Missouri close to ft leonard wood.
