I still have my DFX, and several other White's detectors. Sad to say I have not used them in many years - so many, in fact, I can't even guess.
I had a DFX that was a silver magnet but I sold it to get the Spectra when it first came out. I didn't click with that machine and remember having many issues with coils. Eventually sold it and purchased another DFX. Some time later health issues reduced my ability to swing a detector to zero. I've recovered for the most part, but it doesn't take much to inflame my joints so I've lost the drive I once had.
I've got a couple Beach Hunters I keep in the camper for when we go to the beach, but we haven't been to the East Coast for a couple years, preferring to head West instead, these days.
Sometimes I think I should sell off my detectors (all White's) but in the back of my mind I hope to get back out there one day.
