DHS Preparing For A Total Police State Takeover

March 25th, 2013

(GovtSlaves) – The Department of Homeland Security, better known as the liberty destroying arm of the Government, is not fiscally responsible or Constitutionally correct.

Founded in 2002 as a response to the Governments false flag attack on 9/11, the Department of Homeland Security has quickly eroded your personal rights at an extremely alarming rate.

The TSA has single-handedly turned airports into prisons. Where else in America do you lose all of your God-given rights upon entering a building?

Not to mention the humiliating molestation you receive by lowly TSA agents who don’t understand the implications of their actions. And since we are talking about policies, let us not forget the TSA’s “no fly, no buy” list. Getting on this list should be fairly easy if you’re a liberty loving, pro gun Constitutionalist, or if your name resembles a Middle Eastern terrorist (who was probably funded by rogue elements of the United States Government.) Getting off the list is a whole different story and nearly impossible thanks to the abandonment of our judicial system.

The TSA is also making the transition from airports to Amtrak stations, sporting events and eventually to policing the streets of America. And don’t worry, if you get out of line the DHS is working on electronic shock bracelets that will keep us slaves in check.

One of the biggest stories of the year has to be the DHS purchasing billions of rounds of ammunition. Why would our beloved and trusted Government go to the extreme of drying up the nations ammunition supply? Are they preparing for a massive civil unrest? Are they purposely driving up the prices to punish economically challenged Americans? Its gotten so bad that prices are at all time highs and local law enforcement is having a hard time filling orders.

You know truth and transparency is not the Obama Administration’s strong point, so don’t expect any legitimate answers in the near future. Luckily there are a few pulses of liberty left in congress who are challenging the administration’s stance of stonewalling the very important question, “Why are we buying all this ammunition?”

Since the unjust war in Iraq has wound down the empire of America needs a new enemy to fight, and guess what…..IT’S YOU! If you’re a freedom loving American, a returning veteran, a Second Amendment supporter, a We Are Change member, part of Oath Keepers, or just a fan of columnist Devy Kidd you are now considered a threat to the fabric of America. Don’t believe me? Watch this disgusting interview with the Southern Poverty Law Centers Mark Potok (an organization that claims to teach tolerance while attacking certain groups and people with whom they disagree.)

Paul Joseph Watson recently reported on a 12 million dollar DHS study that characterizes Americans who are:

“suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.

The report also identifies the following characteristics are used to identify potential threats.

Americans who believe their “way of life” is under attack

Americans who are “fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation)

People who consider themselves “anti-global” (presumably those who are wary of the loss of American sovereignty)

Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority”

Americans who are “reverent of individual liberty”

People who “believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”

Our personal privacy is being invaded. Its bad enough we are recorded by security cameras, traffic cameras and red light cameras on a daily basis. Now the eyes in the sky, better known as drones, are the latest way the Department of Homeland Security wants to keep us safe. The Obama Administration has stated they have authority to use drone strikes to kill US citizens. Remember Anwar al-Awlaki? A United States asset who visited the Pentagon on occasion only to be double crossed and killed by a drone strike in Yemen. He was an American citizen.

The capability of the DHS’s drone fleet is something right out of a science fiction novel. They can detect guns, eavesdrop on phone conversations and kill you with a single shot. U.S Senators have even introduced the idea of a drone court where all drone killings will be decided on. Thankfully Senator Rand Paul took a stance against the drone language and filibustered for 13 hours.

The police state is here. The sellout Government we have elected has incrementally taken away liberty’s without most people knowing or caring. If getting molested at the airport doesn’t upset you, nothing will. If you don’t find the Governments massive ammunition buys a little intriguing or suspicious, something is wrong. If you are not instantly enraged that the Government now classifies you as a terrorist and is planning to fill the sky’s with drones to spy on you then maybe you should reevaluate what it means to be an American.

This just reminds me of WWII propaganda. Maybe they are stocking up extra ammo, could you blame them? If they come to a web site like this all you see is "TO ARMS, TO ARMS...ITS TIME FOR A REVOLUTION". I personally believe they stock up this ammo regularly but it is only being noticed now because of the paranoia that is spreading across the internet. I guarantee you the government isnt going to start killing citizens (for no reason at least). I own two guns but I am totally for background checks on all sales, even private. Also registering guns. There is a local auction in the backwoods of central Ohio where I could walk in there and buy whatever weapons they are selling, no wait period no background check...nothing. Some of the people I see buying weapons shouldnt be allowed to own an airsoft gun.
I am not for bans, I am for more regulations. I know everyone says "criminals will get guns anyways" but where did the guns come from originally? Most likely from a private sale somewhere down the line, or stolen from a law abiding citizen. Maybe if all guns have to be registered, law abiding citizens would do a better job of locking up their weapons, especially if they could be held accountable if that weapon is used in a crime. I have a gun safe, not a glass fronted cabinet. If someone breaks in my house they are not stealing my guns. Im sure I will get a lot of hate mail, but just voicing my opinion.

You have to think....the 2nd amendment was written in the 1790's I believe.....Times Are A Changin'

Very thoughtful post, though I don't expect it to be well received by some on the board. Best

We'll just have to wait and see buddy.Times may change but history repeats.

So "times are changing", does that mean it is time to attack and limit the 1st amendment freedom of speech, maybe clamp down on freedom of the press or internet, maybe get rid of a jury of our peers, after all they were all written at the same time as the 2nd was in the Bill of Rights .....

This country was founded on the Constitution and its Bill of Rights it will never be out of date....

We will never register our guns, registration is the first step to confiscation.....

Let me flush out your headgear and try to cut through the crap that has been pumped into your head.

Ever been in combat? I have. 6 years worth?

Ever carried a firearm in a civilian Law Enforcement Capacity? I have.

Answers: You DO NOT SHOOT PRODUCTION FULL HOUSE JACKETED HOLLOW POINT AMMO IN TRAINING OR ON THE RANGE.
You either use it for "social work" or you STORE it for the same thing.

The.
End.

Military would never be shooting hollow point would they - thought that was Geneva conv thing, but could be mistaken?

I think its a little naive to think that the first amendment hasn't changed. I know it hasn't "officially" been changed, you cant just go around and say or write anything you want anymore. Again I am not for a ban and I don't think the government is after your guns. I believe "the right to bear arms" needs more clarification, that's a pretty broad statement. I have to admit I am not "up to date" on all gun laws but wasn't it Ronald Reagan who banned assault weapons?

You won't see it "officially" in government stores, but it is used. I have personally carried a supressed HK .45 with hollow points in a war zone and carried Hornady "TAP" HP ammo in my impingement M4.

But, the funny thing is....the US never SIGNED the Geneva Accords officially....

It's all weird stuff.

Anyhoo: My point. You won't see a "law enforcement' agency buying the god stuff for "practice"

Yeah it was,is,a rule of war,FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) only, stockpicker,DHS isnt military.

Very few people,if any in the site, own assault weapons here Aleisters.you need a class 3 permit to own an assault weapon.

"assault weapon" is actually a German translation of a term used to describe the MP44.

It actually refers to a weapon that hasn't been produced since 1945.

It is just "angry sounding' and is used by liberals for shock factor.

Actually I think the banning of expanding bullets in warfare even predates Geneva to Hague back in the late 1800s.

I know many local police men in my town that told me they always practice with hollow points. They said that it is sop to practice with what you use. Not sure if this holds true for fed agencies, etc but I don't think it is too uncommon for law enforcement of all types to practice with hollows if that is what they carry (which I believe most do)? I think the media is making something out of nothing as they often do. Just my opinion.

All depends how you define "assault weapon". Everyone knows there is NOT a single widely accepted technical definition. Merely a generalized term. All in how one defines the term. You know that.

yeah. You shoot up your OLD duty ammo, then use the range ammo and then get reissued the new "duty ammo" (hollow points) It keeps a rotation of stock ammo.

But to reclarify my point, the "geneva Accord" while often misquoted and casually interpretated to suit the poliyical bent of whomever is quoting it "prohibits expanding or ammo deigned to cause undue suffering" yes.
And you won't see the regular US military using it and/or stocking it.
But Special operation forces?
We carried whatever the **** we wanted to get the job done.

US gov/military is usually never leading the charge on banning weapons of any type as we usually have the most advanced / best of any type. We are one of the only countries against the land mine ban, cluster bombs, dep uranium (though I don't think it's risk has been proven). And even when we sign up for chem and bio bans we continue to develop behind the scenes.

I'm very very curious the discussions around drone use when other countries start deploying. Think of Iran flying drones over the US picking off political and military leaders?? Be interesting the discussions around that. Right now we have a basic monopoly so no worries.

Whether hollow point or full metal jacket, softnose, etc,as long as the bullet weight and powder charge is the same the trajectory isnt going to be any different. If you practice with a 240 grain FMJ and switch over to a 200 grain hollow point your hits will be off and vice versa.

An assault weapon is always select fire and always fires an intermediate cartridge(in between a pistol round and a full blown rifle round),you cannot own a select fire weapon without a class 3 permit.

15 Members of Congress Demand Investigation of Obama’s Ammo Horde

Congressman Asks if DHS Bullet Buys Aimed at Restricting Ammo

(Info Wars) – Californian Congressman Doug LaMalfa and 14 of his House peers have written a letter to the Department of Homeland Security demanding to know why the federal agency is buying so many rounds of ammunition and whether the purchases are part of a deliberate attempt to restrict supply to the American people.

The DHS has committed to purchasing around 2 billion rounds of ammunition over the course of the last year. Many believe the purchases are exacerbating bullet shortages across the country, supplies already strained by record sales prompted as a result of the Obama administration’s gun control agenda.

“The extraordinary level of ammunition purchases made by Homeland Security seems to have, in states such as my own, created an extreme shortage of ammunition to the point where many gun owners are unable to purchase any,” LaMalfa wrote in the letter.

“Are these purchases being conducted in a manner that strategically denies the American people access to ammunition,” the Congressman added.

According to the Record Searchlight, it is not yet known whether the DHS has responded to LaMalfa’s letter. The report also quotes gun store owners who are suspicious about the federal agency’s huge ammo buys.

As we reported yesterday, other members of Congress who have asked similar questions to those posed by LaMalfa have been rebuffed.

“They have no answer for that question. They refuse to answer to answer that,” Congressman Timothy Huelscamp told WeAreChange reporters earlier this week, adding, “They refuse to let us know what is going on, so I don’t really have an answer for that. Multiple members of Congress are asking those questions.”

Huelscamp promised to keep asking and even threatened to back a move to defund the agency if answers were not forthcoming.

Last Friday, New Jersey Congressman Leonard Lance also indicated that he would pursue an explanation as to why the DHS is engaging in an apparent arms build-up.

“I think Congress should ask the Department about both of those issues and I would like a full explanation as to why that has been done and I have every confidence that the oversight committee ….should ask those questions,” said Lance, adding that he shared a belief, “that Congress has a responsibility to ask Secretary Napolitano as to exactly why these purchases have occurred.”

Earlier this month, Forbes Magazine called for a “national conversation” on the matter despite claims by mainstream media and leftist websites that the issue had been “debunked”. As we documented, the sole source for claiming the story was “debunked” came from a single quote by a DHS official carried in a February 14 Associated Press report.

The AP report regurgitated claims by the federal agency that the bullets were bought in bulk to save money and were for training purposes only.

However, as former Marine Richard Mason told reporters with WHPTV News in Pennsylvania earlier this month, hollow point bullets (which make up the majority of the DHS purchases) are not used for training because they are more expensive than standard firing range rounds.

“We never trained with hollow points, we didn’t even see hollow points my entire four and a half years in the Marine Corps,” Mason said.

After Sarah Palin expressed concern about the issue on her official Facebook page, the Democratic Governors Association (DGA), a lobbying organization which represents governors affiliated with the Democratic Party, started an ad campaign calling on Americans to sign a petition demanding Sarah Palin be denounced for “extremist” rhetoric.

[h=1]15 Conservative Politicians Demand Answers To Huge Purchases of Weapons & Ammo By DHS[/h]
AUTHOR Matt Vespa

First, the Department of Homeland Security went on a massive buying binge, one that included buying at least 1.6 billion bullets. Then, the DHS told Sen. Tom Coburn that it was buying such massive quantities in order to bring down prices. Finally, the DHS ignored a formal request from a House member asking about the purchases and, instead, told a U.S. News and World Report blog that it wasn’t really buying anything at all; it was just putting out the possibility of buying ammunition and weapons “up to” a certain amount, because that’s how the bureaucracy works. In other words, the DHS is buying a lot and talking just a little.
Now, fifteen Republican House members are increasing the pressure on the DHS by sending a formal letter demanding that it explain why it is purchasing so much ammunition. The letter also asks it to confirm or deny whether it is deliberately attempting to restrict the bullet supply available to the American people. Regardless of its intentions, many believe that the current ammunition shortage is related to the DHS’s commitment to purchase up to 2 million bullets in a year.

Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-California) authored the letter. In it, he wrote:
The extraordinary level of ammunition purchases made by Homeland Security seems to have, in states such as my own, created an extreme shortage of ammunition to the point where many gun owners are unable to purchase any.
He then asked, “Are these purchases being conducted in a manner that strategically denies the American people access to ammunition?” Fourteen other Congressman joined with him in asking this question. There is no word yet as to whether a DHS representative has responded to Rep. LaMalfa’s letter.

Regardless of the DHS’s motives, when a big agency, in a big, cash-strapped government, starts making inexplicably big purchases, the people are entitled to know what’s going on. Until the DHS steps forward to explain fully why it has gone on this spending binge, it should not be surprised that people who are directly affected by the governments hitherto unexplained actions are going to assume the worst.

Some people will say there is nothing unusual going on right up untill they start using them on American citizens and then still deny anything is happening............

That's right. That's why for most organizations you train with what you carry. You think mass state cops care if it costs the state extra money to practice with hollow points - of course not.

These groups are not weekend target shooters looking to save a couple bucks.

And I can come up with as many definitions for the term "assault weapon" as you have time to read. It's all up to how the writer defined it - it is not a military - technical term. I know it's cool to say look at those stupid Antigun folks they think this semi auto is an assault weapon - boy are they stupid, etc, etc. it's really a stupid and meaningless discussion.

How do you know they dont practice with 185 grain FMJ then carry 185 grain hollowpoints. You can practice and carry any thing you want to as long as the bullet weight and powder charge remain the same then your sights remain true.As soon as you start changing bullet weights and or powder charges your hits will be off.
