I used to go there alot, haven't been back since the 90's, found alot over the year's, most of it from grounds that are now out of bounds, found several browns that went 90 points (100 points is a carat) found two browns that were over a carat, i still have lots of multi-colored 5-12 points, and my two best finds, a 10 point black in its perfect strata (two pyrimids stuck together) and a 63 point green, i was going to donate the black to the park for their display since they didnt have one, and when they explained it to the tourist they didnt always get the picture, but isaw in a recent picture that they have one now, not quite as perfect as mine but much larger, the one they have on display looks to be close to 2 carats, had lots of great times there and made lots of friends, there is an old man that used to go there and made a very good living off what mined there, i wonder if he's still mining, his name was curts archer, i once saw a 10 carat peanat shaped white that he found and lost the same day, it was in an asprin bottle, and we helped him look for it for two day's, at he end of the second day he went to his truck and there sat the asprin bottle on the door handle of his truck (empty) someone letting him know, no need in searching any more, there was also a man and his grandaughter that were there almost every day, he found quite a few, and found the prettiest diamond i have ever seen a 4 carat heart shape yellow with a red garnet crack running through it
