Hi all, I'm new here and just started posting today, so I thought I'd share this cool find with you that I dug up just before the holidays..
This 1960's Dick Tracy cap pistol was found several miles from my home at a small park..what amazes me is that it's in very good shape. There is no real corrosion to speak of, except for a couple of small breaks in the pot metal. After I brought it home I opened it up, then cleaned and oiled the entire gun. After working a rusted joint in the mechanism, it finally came loose and now it works like a new gun!
