I looked at the gold/silver ratio and traded my 2011 1/2oz proof gold eagle, in the box, for (45) 1 oz silver buffolo rounds.
I know this isn't crh but I just wanted to throw this out there.

How much did you pay for the 1/2 oz gold coin? If you don't mind me asking.

I've been thinking about making a trade for silver as well. But all I have is 1/10 of an ounce, and what I paid for it wouldn't bring a low-enough price per ounce of silver for me to feel good about it.

My plan is to wait till the gold/silver ratio is at 30 then trade the 45 oz of silver for 1 1/2 oz gold. I want to see how many times I can do this trading.
