I received the machine today, and it arrived as described. Hunted the yard a little bit with it and actually found a couple of coins my old Garrett overlooked (or I overlooked). Now I need to get one of my digital cameras back from one of my employees and I will start posting pictures!

In regards to your question, I believe the guy attached the Coil Cover with Silicone so sand wouldn't get between it & the Coil! Good Move? Lots of luck w/ your 250's! Joe

Usually when we look for advice we are really seeking an accomplice. I personally dont like to silicone the coil covers on, as they are the devil to remove. Do what you want.
