Did I make a Rocker Box or a Rocker sluice ?

Last time I was out to the desert roads were a mess , gulley's , washout's puddles of water enough to pan in , To wet for drywashing that's when I thought about building a rocker box to process more dirt , Now that it is finished I can't get to the claim main paved roads are still closed since Dec . , So I have not tested it yet , Don't know much about rockers is it Box or sluice ?

What is “clipboard foundation”? Do I want to ask at this time of day? Is your station being manned by a human at the moment? Legit question. Where would (300 pound capacity) wheel chair ramps be applicable here?

Portable Ramp tends to be quite flat overall and already prefabbed with welds.

I have been operating rocker boxes for a long time and while they possess sluice like parts they aren’t sluice boxes. Rocker boxes are in fact big gold pans! My big rocker had removable cheaters and used burlap to seal the bottom to prevent scouring. The main recovery is in the apron under the hopper grizzly. The trough section can have cheaters but if operated correctly almost all the gold will be in the apron. It’s lined with cloth in such a way to make a sag. The apron should be cleaned out every time the hopper is cleared. The traditional canvas apron is easily cleaned into a bucket. Using a flat surface with moss/expanded doesn’t work the same.

Thank you for the clarification. I thought the heavies stayed in a 4 sided box.

A 4 sided box is a pan for the heavies to settle to the bottom thereof.
A 3 sided box is for the slope to have an effect on the materials. That is the heavies compared to the lights by specific gravity.
The rocking action is for a spreading out effect on materials due to lack of water flow to make the same action as in a sluice box with much higher water flow rate.

The rocking action achieves a similar action to that found in a gold pan. It’s basically a big pan.
