Did I read that 1987 halves are special?

Cause I got one today.

My competition is tough! Every once and a while I'll go pick up as many halves as I can, I'm by no means an addict, just an occasional dabbler.

12 banks, $33.50 in halves, two 1967 and one 1987 that I *think* I remember was special for some reason?

Not many halves, but the % of silver to clad was decent. Better than last time, I got about $250 in halves and got one 40%.
